About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D and product development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in machine prototype development, mechanical design, and control systems integration. You will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and testing mechanical systems and working closely with electronics and automation teams to develop functional prototypes and production-ready solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and build mechanical prototypes, machines, and automation systems.
  • Work on 3D CAD modeling and 2D drafting using tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360.
  • Collaborate with the electronics team to integrate control systems, sensors, and actuators.
  • Conduct design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
  • Supervise fabrication, assembly, and testing of mechanical components and prototypes.
  • Troubleshoot design or performance issues and suggest engineering improvements.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
  • Support the transition from prototype to production phase, ensuring manufacturability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2โ€“5 years of experience in mechanical design, prototype development, or machine building.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent design software.
  • Basic understanding of control systems, sensors, motors, and automation technologies.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, sheet metal, and 3D printing.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and hands-on experience in testing and validation.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or PLC-based systems.
  • Exposure to mechatronics, robotics, or industrial automation projects.
  • Familiarity with electromechanical systems and embedded control integration.
  • Understanding of simulation tools (ANSYS, MATLAB, etc.).
