This Arduino-powered smart street light system uses an LDR sensor to detect ambient light and automatically turn the lights on at night. Additionally, an IR sensor detects motion and increases brightness when movement is detected, ensuring energy efficiency. When no motion is detected, the lights dim to save power. Ideal for smart lighting applications, this system enhances safety and reduces electricity consumption.

The Arduino-Based Smart Street Light is an intelligent lighting system designed to automatically control streetlights based on ambient light levels and motion detection. It integrates LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) and IR sensors to optimize energy consumption and enhance safety.

Key Features:
Automatic Light Control: The LDR sensor detects daylight and turns the lights ON at night and OFF during the day.
Motion Detection: IR sensors detect movement and increase brightness when motion is detected, ensuring better visibility.
Energy Efficient: The system dims the lights when no motion is detected, reducing power consumption.
Arduino-Based: Uses an Arduino microcontroller for efficient automation and easy customization.
PWM Brightness Control: Adjusts LED brightness using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) to optimize power usage.
Simple & Cost-Effective: Easy to set up with minimal components, making it an affordable smart lighting solution.

Working Principle:
LDR Sensor (Light Detection):

During the day, the system detects high ambient light levels and keeps the street lights OFF.
At night, when ambient light levels drop, the system automatically turns the lights ON.
IR Sensor (Motion Detection):

When no movement is detected, the lights remain at dim brightness (low power mode).
If a pedestrian or vehicle is detected, the lights increase to full brightness for better visibility.
After the motion stops, the system reduces brightness to save energy.
Applications:
Smart street lighting systems
Residential and commercial outdoor lighting
Parking lots and pathway lighting
Energy-efficient lighting solutions for smart cities

Components Used:
Arduino Board (Microcontroller)
LDR Sensor (Light sensor)
IR Sensors (Motion detection)
LED Lights (Controllable brightness)
Resistors & Wires (For circuit connections)
Advantages:
🔹 Automatic & Smart: No need for manual switching
🔹 Power-Saving: Reduces unnecessary electricity usage
🔹 Eco-Friendly: Contributes to energy conservation
🔹 Enhances Safety: Provides better visibility when needed

This Arduino-Based Smart Street Light is a great solution for modernizing street lighting with automation and energy efficiency!
